The programme includes captivating works by celebrated Maltese composers, Charles Camilleri’s tribute to folk music Maltese Dances and John Galea’s evocative symphonic poem Ġgantija Suite. Featured is also Rodrigo’s elegant Concierto de Aranjuez featuring guitarist Simon Schembri. An exquisite selection of Mendelssohn’s entrancing incidental music A Midsummer Night’s Dream transports the audience into Shakespeare’s magical world.
