Back to What's onThis final concert is the culmination of the 3-day international music competition organised by the Malta Cross Music competition (MCMC). Now in its third successful year, the MCMC, under the direction of its dynamic artistic director Frank Bonnici, brings together top level aspiring musicians in the genres of classical, film, pop and traditional music. The event is more than just a contest – it is a celebration of diversity and artistic change. In addition to showcasing musical talent, it encourages the blending of traditions and culture, creating a rich experience, and in particular strengthening international culture relations between Malta, the Czech Republic and Austria, Vienna.
The event starts off with the Frank Bonnici Trio playing a contemporary jazz set, followed by a classical music repertoire by the sixteen competition candidates, and closing off with the prize-giving ceremony.
